The Uberfall's message boards are a great place to share stories and debate issues. Below you will find a few rules that are intended to make everyone's time here worthwhile.

1. Use Your Head
The real-time nature of a message board makes it impossible for us to monitor and maintain the boards 24/7. We encourage you to use common sense when posting and responding to the comments of others. Inflammatory posts walk a fine line, and will only be considered in the Flames forum. Personal attacks will not be tolerated in any forum, and the decision to move, edit, delete or close posts lie with the moderators and admins. If you disagree with a moderators decision, please email the administrator.

2. Accountability is Encouraged
We understand that many don't like to use their real names when posting on a message board. While we do respect that opinion, we encourage you to use your name or a form of your name for accountability purposes. For example, John Doe could simply take the username: John D. If you are dead set on using an ambiguous screen name, please consider adding your real name to your signature.

The reason for this is simple. Anyone can come on a message board and spew information. If you want to be taken seriously, adding your name will help identify who's claiming what. It also helps to identify climbers when you're out at the cliffs. Hiding behind a screen name can prevent you from meeting the people you chat with online. If you choose to ignore this, we understand, but there are many out there who would like to know who you are and I would assume vice versa.

3. Content
No pornography or links to pornography will be tolerated. There are other places on the web to engage in this type of activity, but The Uberfall isn't one of them. With that said, the ass of a naked guy climbing Shockley's Exposed won't be considered pornography. If you're into that thing, then post away.
